Player pathways: previous playing experience of PL loanees to the EFL
There are in excess of 200 players currently out on loan from Premier League clubs, of whom over half are in the EFL.
This document briefly analyses their playing careers before they headed out on loan this summer, with a focus on understanding where they played the majority of their football last season.
